Players Meeting Thursday 16th of February, 2012

The Club Committee have called a Players Meeting this Thursday 16th February. The meeting is to discuss the Club’s performance on and off field and our strategic direction for Season 2012/13.

Players from all grades are requested to attend. The meeting will commence after training (7.45) and is expected to be approximately an hour in duration.

A massive performance by Andrew Considine and a bit of luck going to B2B Burger Kings having him step in as captain for Round 8 have closed the gap at the top of the table. It looks to be a two horse race now between Big Farken Maxi and the Burger Kings. The two key things to keep an eye on going forward are the performance of both team’s captains and the six differences in personnel that the sides have.

Round 8 – Weekend Wrap

A disappointing round of results for Centrals with all four teams going down in close contests. A lot of stand out individual performances though. Adrian ‘Dish’ Warry finally got rewards for his spectacular season of bowling taking his first 5 for, S May chipped in with another lazy 4. A Considine continued his great season with a massive game in the 3rds scoring 121 and taking a couple of wickets.

It was the same old story in the fantasy competition this week. ‘Big Farken Maxi’ ended the year on a high with another convincing 1st place for the round, extending their lead at the top of the ladder.
