New Coach Announced: Trevor O’Leary

Hampton Central CC are pleased to announce that after a twenty year absence from the club Trevor O’Leary will return as coach for the 2012-13 season. We believe his passion for the game will be just the tonic to revitalise our senior players while also guiding our group of young cricketers to be the best players they can be. Stay tuned for more news in the not too distant future.

Well done to all the award winners at tonight’s club presenation night. It was great to end the season on a high by recognising some of the individual  successes, in what was a pretty lean year for our teams.

Ando’s Ace Army came from nowhere to post a strong score in the final round and finish the season on a high. Burger Kings B2B did outscore Big Farken Maxi, but it was nowhere near enough to make up the deficit. Big Farken Maxi are our premiers this year after a fast start to the season and a solid back end where nobody could catch them.

Junior Presentation Day

With the Season near complete for all teams we have been able to finalise plans for the Junior Presentation Day. As hinted we will hold the Presentation at our updated Pavilion, beginning with some famous Helen’s Hot Dogs provided by the Club.

This year we will have members from our inaugural T20 Blast Team, 12 modified, 12′s, 14′s and 16′s all part of the Presentation. The day is a great chance to catch up with other Families, celebrate our Team’s achievements, as well as thank our Team’s Coaches and Managers.

Date: Saturday 17th March, 2012 from 4.30pm.
Location: Clyde Clark Pavilion, Simpson Reserve, Hampton.
Format: Hot dogs and refreshments, Presentation to follow at approximately 5-15pm.
General: Please feel free to bring as many family and friends as you wish. If you have any queries please give me or your Team Manager a call.
