Hampton Central Cricket Club has four senior teams competing in the SECA – South East Cricket Association on Saturday’s. Additionally, we often field a team in the Twenty20 competition that runs on a Tuesday evening in the first half of the season (depending on availability).
2023/24 GRADES
TRAINING
Senior training starts at 6:00 pm on Tuesday (only on selection weeks) and Thursday nights at our home ground (Simpson Reserve, Fewster Road, Hampton). It is generally followed by a meal and selection in the week proceeding the start of a match. The TwoBlues training shirt and shorts are recommended for training sessions.
PRESEASON TRAINING
Pre-season training generally kicks off at the start of September giving players a good chance to get a bowl/bat before games begin. Please take note of the dates as they will vary year to year. Details will be available on the HCCC website/Facebook page/Whatsapp.
MID-SEASON BREAK
The last game before the mid-season break is usually the second last Saturday before Christmas. This year falls on the 16th of December. The first game back after the mid-season break is generally in the middle of January. For the 2023/24 season the return will be the 6th of January for the 1XI, and the 13th of January for the remaining teams.
