HCCC PRE-SEASON 2016/17 TRAINING SCHEDULE
With Senior Coach Mario Morel again leading the way, the pre-season for the Senior Club is due to soon commence.
I am sure much of our Club’s success last season was from the extra efforts put in by many in the pre-season. In particular, our younger developing cricketers who improved throughout the season and were amongst our best performed in the Finals. Pre-season also happens to be the perfect time to attract new recruits to the Club and I encourage everyone to welcome new faces to these training sessions.
We intend to vary the program a little from last season with more outdoor weekend sessions, to hopefully allow more busy people to attend. Again, we hope to foster teamwork, further skills development and promote more mentoring amongst our younger generation of senior players.

The indoor sessions are at this stage planned to be at Mordy HQ (formerly Radsports Training & Coaching Centre), a purpose built indoor cricket facility at 3 Haymer Court Braeside. Please arrive half an hour before the session for a brief warmup, discussion of the session training plan and to maximize the net time available to the Group. The Club will be graciously covering the cost of these sessions and we encourage all members to get the most out of the pre-season build up.
Although unlikely, depending upon weather conditions, availability, etc., session dates and times may vary. Changes will generally be communicated on the Club’s Facebook site, so please look out for messages from Mario will be directing the pre-season and on-field preparations for the season.
