Preparation for Junior Cricket Season 2022/23 and “Two Blues” Playing Shirt Order

Hopefully everyone is keeping well and as active as possible during the Winter season!!
It is that time of year the Cricket Club is planning pre-season events and other preparations for the coming 2022/23 season.
One of the difficult tasks we have had the last few seasons is getting timely supply of playing merchandise, particularly the personalized (sublimated) “Two Blues” playing tops. This is likely to be an issue again, if orders are not in early. Hence we would like to take orders immediately and submit to the supplier by the 27th of July 2022. Apologies only 1 week to confirm this order. (A few have seen our Club Facebook site with the detail around ordering Two Blues tops. Thank you for replying).
At this stage, we are planning for our teams in Under 12 boys (including Rookies) and the Girls Teams to play in the “Two Blues” tops. Also, our returning Master Blasters and those going to Rookies.
Under 14s and above to play in white club shirts, but keen for all to have a Two Blues Top for training and Club wear.
Another clothing order may go in as the season starts, but delivery could be slow, maybe > 8 weeks.
Having a modern personalized “Two Blues” top is excellent for all Juniors, assisting to make all feel part of the team and Club, and easier to identify for scorers and supporters!!
To order a “Two Blues” shirt please reply to this email, with the following details:
Shirt Size: (sizes are generally good fit, OK)
Short or Long sleeve: (please specify, short is default)
Name or Nickname on shirt: (anything, not crude of course)
Number: (any number is OK)
The Two Blues tops are $45 each. Payment can be made to the Club by EFT (Acct: Hampton Central Cricket Club, BSB: 083004, Account No. 550580679) , or when you register in the coming months. Any questions around the Club tops, or other merchandise, please contact Ian Wilkinson (0402647531. If you need a Two Blues top please remember to reply and order by the 27th July 2022.
In terms of other upcoming season news, the SECA met recently to confirm playing days and formats. Likely we will have this information in the coming weeks, however, it is likely the first weekend of junior games will be the 7/8/9 of October!!
I will also soon be gathering our Coaches and Managers from last season to discuss teams and roles for the coming season. If you are keen to be involved in the coaching or management of a team, or in general duties at the Club, please give me a call. There are many ways of supporting the Club and we welcome parents and family members to get involved in any way they feel comfortable.
Please look out for messages from the Club in the weeks to come, with detail of registrations and pre-season training to come out in August. If you aware of friends or other juniors who have interest in cricket, or are wishing to join our teams, please feel free to direct them to me in the interim.
